Nov. 1, 2013: Eastern sailmaker Ron White will be repairing a 90-yr-old chase boat Spritsail for the New Bedford Whaling Museum. Using traditional sailmaking methods and materials, Ron will be working Tuesday through Thursday mornings in the museum's "Lagoda Room" and closely coordinating with the museum's Senior Maritime Historian, Michael Dyer.

All stages of the project will be documented, and great care will be taken to replicate the original Spritsail construction. As this project is being implemented as a "Live-Exhibit," customers and friends are encouraged to visit the Whaling Museum and say hello!
